I decided to help him, not only with a free stay at my hotel but also with something more personal. He was really thankful and eager to show his appreciation. He is very good at certain skills, impressive even. He shared that he had a great time in the past with someone special, but now here in a new place, he felt alone and scared. His story touched me and made me want to give him more than just a quick encounter. So our encounter turned into another late check-out for him and an unforgettable moment for me. I hope he will be able to move on and find happiness, but I am not sure I will be able to forget this experience so easily.
